Our Mission
Americans for Constitutional Accountability exists to strengthen and defend the constitutional system of checks and balances that has safeguarded American liberty for over 250 years. We believe the legislative, executive, and judicial branches must operate as coequal institutions, each exercising its constitutional responsibilities while serving as an effective check on the others. Through education, advocacy, research, and civic engagement, we work to promote constitutional accountability, preserve the separation of powers, and ensure that no individual, party, or branch of government stands above the Constitution.
Education
Helping the public understand how the separation of powers protects their liberty.
Advocacy
Pressing lawmakers, agencies, and courts to stay within their constitutional limits.
Research
Producing rigorous analysis on the balance of power across all three branches.
Civic Engagement
Equipping citizens with the tools to hold their government accountable.
